Joint Entrance Examination (JEE ) is conducted by the IITs all over India for admission of students to its under-graduate and post -graduate courses. 26th December 2013 is the last date to fill in the forms for the online JEE 2014 exam. The online examination would be held on April 9, 11, 12 and 19.
JEE Mains marks that are used for admission to various Undergraduate Engineering Programmes is based on 40% of marks scored in School Boards and 60% weightage is given to marks scored in JEE (Mains) .
Last year about 1,20,000 students appeared for the examination and this year too the same number of students are expected to appear.
Since last year New JEE has been designed to give more weightage to Std XII exam results. It will consist of two objective type papers - JEE-Main and JEE-Advance.
